It’s a good practice to keep an eye out for these indicators that you may need to have your gas lines repaired. 

  • Hissing sounds emanating from the gas line.
  • A rotten egg smell around your gas appliances or gas lines. Natural gas is technically an odourless gas, but chemicals are added to make the gas easier to detect. If you’re able to smell natural gas, there’s a leak somewhere in the lines.
  • Problems with the functionality of your gas equipment.
  • Unexplainable changes in your gas usage are reported on your utility bills.
